Well then look no further … Reciproque, Catherine Max, and Misentroc are just a few boutiques that carry second-hand haute couture labels like Dior, Chanel, and pretty much any other French brand that is your heart’s desire.

Reciproque is a series of second hand shops located on either side of the Rue de la Pompe. They have mint to hardly ever worn Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, and Valentino items. These boutiques are every budget conscious fashionista’s dream. They carry a large array of womenswear, menswear, accessories, and objects d’arts. If you plan to visit, make sure you allow yourself at least one to two hours to patiently look through everything. You might just find that Chanel handbag that you’ve been secretly dreaming about. Plus, once as you leave, you can enter the Trocadero where you have a beautiful view of the Effiel Tower.

Catherine Max is every an absolute haute couture fantasy. This 12,000 square foot shop is located in the posh 16th arrondissement and carries brand couture, accessories, decorations, tableware, and jewelry. To enjoy their discount benefits, you will need to be a member, and the annual fee for membership is 12 Euros. With as much as 80% off on Christian Lacroix and John Galliano, how could you go wrong? Some of the more recent designer sales include Ralph Lauren, Givenchy, and Kenzo. Also to be noted, two security guards stand at the entrance of the shop and check everyone’s handbag before you enter, so do not be alarmed.

Opening Hours: Tuesday to Friday 10:30 am – 1pm and 2 pm to 7 pm

Found in the chic 6th arrondissement, the Misentroc specializes in selling ready-to-wear brands and upscale Hermes, Chanel Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Chloe, Chrisitan Dior, and Lawrence fur and leather accessories. Most of the pieces range from elegant fashions to trendier styles. Misentroc carries fashion for all ages, all styles, and all budges. So come one, come all! Deposits are held by appointment only. You can find a black leather skirt for 45 -70 Euros or a Chrisitan Lacroix dress for 120 Euros.
